70 yards from the front door of your Lodge in South Hams, Devon, there's a fishing lake, over half an acre in size. The lake often looks magical in the mystical light that this part of Devon is renowned for. The water often looks golden in colour, due to the complex mineral profile of the surrounding terrain - the lake is fed by a fresh water stream which helps to support the very rich bio-diversity of this protected environment.
